My Montessori & Homeschool
Activities & Cost:
In a nutshell
My Montessori and homeschool activities
are designed for parents, homeschoolers, and teachers who want to
incorporate Montessori into their home, classroom, or daycare setting.
They offer optional (when applicable) e-mail
consulting with me, the trained Montessori teacher with 20 years experience.
E-mail Consulting
You have the option
(when applicable) to consult with me by e-mail for help, support, and answers
to your questions. I can help with you with:

environment, including Montessori homeschool!

in-home daycare off the ground
Suggestions for making
your own materials and activities
Where to buy more affordable
materials for activities and lessons including child-size furniture
Help with learning disabilities
or learning lags
Help with conflict resolution,
discipline issues, socialization, and other behavioral challenges
Help with potty training,
sleeping issues, tantrums
Problems with attention
span or ADD
Working with siblings
and or multi-age groups!
Working with special
needs or developmental delays
Homeschool friendly
The programs and activities are homeschool
friendly. When I first started doing Montessori on the Internet in 1998,
my online support came from the homeschooling (and unschooling) community!
I am happy to give the special care necessary to parents and guardians
who want to teach Montessori at home or as an addition to their other curricula.
And to further meet the needs of homeschoolers,
I am now offering Creationism friendly versions of my Montessori and homeschool
lessons and documents for older children!
How to make your own materials
Most of the lessons and activities include
how to make your own materials: they are designed for people all over the
world. I have made a great effort to help homeschoolers, parents,
and educators make their own materials, affordably.
This program is ideal for:
-
Parents and homeschoolers
who
want to learn about Montessori education and incorporate it into
their home environment...
-
Daycare providers
and private school teachers searching for alternative materials and
lessons for their classroom or in-home daycare and who want to learn more
about Montessori education...
-
Special needs children
(including Down syndrome and Autism) who need one-on-one instruction, sensorial
(hands-on) learning, and learn-at-your-own-pace education.
-
Developmental delays
and behavioral challenges: I have a great deal of experience in helping
children with special issues and learning delays (or lags)!
What this program is NOT
Sorry! this is not
a training course that certifies Montessori teachers (or schools). Montessori
training courses are expensive, taught at a Montessori school or center,
and are accredited by a Montessori organization. Go
here for a list of online Montessori training centers.
Cost
I try to offer the most affordable prices
for my Montessori and homeschool programs and activities that I possibly
can. They range from $11.99 to $99 (compared to $400 for Montessori manuals
and $2000 for Montessori training courses).
That was one of my motivations in 1998
for creating my online Montessori and homeschool programs and activities,
to make Montessori affordable for the average family and in-home daycare.
And I realize that since 1998, one can
find many free Montessori and homeschool resources on the Internet, as
well as a lot more Montessori and homeschool books on Amazon and Ebay.
When you decide to buy one of my
Montessori and homeschool products and services, you are supporting a small
in-home family business, and I thank you for that! (I could not continue
to offer affordable Montessori without it!)
But if you are not happy with your purchase
(and 99% of my customers and clients are), if you expected more for less
(the other 1%), I am happy to give you a refund, no questions asked...
I want you to be satisfied with your purchase(s)!
Best to you,
Lisa Nolan (MEARTH)
